14C and 14A Trophy Mountain Goat Draw areas: The population is growing which allowed Alaska Fish & Game to increase the number of permits issued the last couple of years. This has increased your chances of drawing a permit. We have excellent mountain goat hunting with many making the book. Our Mountain Goat hunts historically have taken 1 or 2 days. These are 5 day, 7 day total backpack hunts with 1 guide per 1 hunter with a 2008 special rate of $6,500. No additional charter flight fees or taxes. We are offering 2 hunters with 1 guide hunt package for $9,900. If you are looking for an opportunity at a high scoring impressive Mountain Goat in glacier country, this is the premier draw area to hunt. Note: you can shoot a black bear, wolverine and wolf on this hunt at no additional charge if in season.
